Dr. Danielle is a board-certified pediatric dentist dedicated to creating positive dental experiences for children and their families. She attended Tulane University, where she studied Classics, following a pre-dental path and graduating with honors. After her acceptance to Louisiana State University School of Dentistry, Dr. Danielle excelled academically and clinically, earning numerous awards and publishing research on trigeminal neuralgia.
While working in a pediatric dental office in New Orleans, she decided to pursue a pediatric specialty and was accepted into the residency program at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital in Miami. During her residency, she trained closely with the craniofacial and orthodontic teams, treating children with a wide range of special health care needs. Dr. Danielle was awarded a prestigious honor in recognition of her significant research contributions, showcasing her exceptional impact on hospital dentistry.
With a focus on gentle care and education, Dr. Danielle fosters healthy smiles and lifelong dental habits in a welcoming environment. Diane Alvarez-Rodriguez, D.M.D., M.S.

Dr. Diane Alvarez-Rodriguez is a highly trained periodontist with more than 15 years of experience in advanced periodontal care, implant dentistry, oral surgery, and comprehensive treatment planning.
Born and raised in Southern California, Dr. Alvarez-Rodriguez is a first-generation Cuban-American whose passion for healthcare and science led her to pursue an extensive and multidisciplinary education. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) before relocating to South Florida, where she completed a Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences.
Dr. Alvarez-Rodriguez went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. Following dental school, she returned to South Florida to pursue advanced specialty training at Nova Southeastern University, completing a year of advanced training in Prosthodontics followed by a three-year residency in Periodontics, where she earned her Certificate in Periodontics.
Her commitment to providing comprehensive surgical care led her to further her education through a mini-residency in anesthesiology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, with advanced training in conscious sedation. This additional training allows Dr. Alvarez-Rodriguez to place particular emphasis on the comfort and experience of patients who may be anxious about dental or surgical treatment.
Throughout her career, Dr. Alvarez-Rodriguez has continued to expand her expertise in periodontal plastic surgery, dental implants, bone and soft-tissue regeneration, laser periodontal therapy, and advanced surgical techniques. She has received additional training in procedures including LANAP®️ laser periodontal therapy, minimally invasive gum recession treatment, and accelerated osteogenic orthodontic techniques.
Dr. Alvarez-Rodriguez believes that exceptional dentistry begins with understanding the individual patient. Dr. Gina Cozzarelli obtained her first dental degree from Francisco Marroquin University in Guatemala City. She then completed a one-year residency program in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at Nova Southeastern University, College of Dental Medicine. At the same educational institution, she then completed a 3-year international dental student program, obtaining her doctor degree in dental medicine; at the same time, serving as Teaching Assistant in the Community Dentistry Department. She was then accepted in the Orthodontic Specialty program at the same institution, obtaining her specialty degree in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics in 2009; in addition, serving as a Teaching Assistant of the Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics Department.
Dr. Cozzarelli treats children and adults with a variety of techniques including metal braces, clear braces, Invisalign and lingual braces. The treatment can be either comprehensive in young patients or a phase 1 interceptive treatment that is required to avoid extractions of permanent teeth in the future or skeletal treatment that can require later orthognathic surgery. Dr. Cozzarelli also treats TMJ disorder of myofascial origin with conservative approach.
Dr. Jose Khawam is an experienced general dentist with more than 20 years in the dental profession and advanced training in prosthodontics. He completed a three-year specialty program in prosthodontics, developing extensive experience in restorative, cosmetic, and implant dentistry.

Dr. Esther Heller Knafo , DDS

Dr. Roger Nachar brings more than 17 years of experience in general dentistry with a strong focus on prosthodontic care.
